Shipping & FAQ

We strive to get your order on its way as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking information. Please note that embroidery and laser-cut patch orders require additional production time before shipping. See our "Embroidery Production Times" section below for details.

Delivery times below are estimated and are in addition to any required production or processing time & are not guaranteed once the order as left the warehouse.

• $15 Standard Tracked Delivery – Atlantic Canada: NB, NS, PEI & NL — 2–5 business days
• $20 Standard Tracked Delivery – QC, ON & MB: 3–5 business days
• $20 Standard Tracked Delivery – SK, AB, BC, YT, NT & NU: 5–6 business days
• $40 Priority Shipping – NB, NS, PEI, NL, QC, ON & MB: 1–2 business days
• $40 Priority Shipping – SK, AB, BC, YT, NT & NU: 2–3 business days

For Standard Tracked orders, we use UPS, Purolator, or FedEx whenever possible. Orders shipping to PO Boxes must be sent via Canada Post.

For addresses in YT, NT, and NU, courier service may not be available to all locations. Where courier delivery is not feasible, your order will be shipped via Canada Post.

Backorders

While we do our best to keep products in stock, occasionally an item may be temporarily unavailable. If this happens, we’ll contact you with an estimated shipping date.

Unless you request otherwise, orders containing backordered items will be held and shipped once the complete order is ready.

CPGear Products are Made in Canada.

August 24, 2026 Update: New U.S. tariffs on Canadian made products are currently in effect. Depending on your order, additional duties, tariffs, or import charges may apply.

These charges are separate from our shipping costs and are the responsibility of the customer. The exact charges may vary as U.S./Canadian trade negotiations continue.

Embroidery only orders are shipped directly from our U.S. factory in Florida and are not subject to Canadian import tariffs or additional import charges upon delivery.

International Orders: If you're ordering internationally, you may place your order through our website. The shipping charges won't be calculated automatically when you get to checkout, however as soon as we receive your order we'll check what shipping options (Express Air or International Surface) are available to your location, and will be in touch by email.

Additionally, if your order consists only of small, flat, embroidery items, we can ship your items:

• In an envelope for $8 (this is NOT traceable or insurable. Please see "Lost or Missing Embroidery Orders - Envelope Shipping" for more details).
• Or, we can ship via Canada Post Tracked Packet for $36.50.
• Please note: Only certain countries are eligible for this method. If your Country is not eligible it will show a $0.00 shipping rate at the checkout and we will contact you with your shipping options once the order is placed.

All embroidered items are made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for production before your order ships. Shipping times listed above are in addition to the embroidery production time.

For small, flat embroidery only orders, we offer a $6 untracked envelope shipping option. Eligible items include badges, patches, nametapes, and slip-ons. Your order must consist entirely of items that can fit in a standard envelope. Larger embroidered items, such as brassards, embroidered hats, and apparel, are not eligible and will be shipping with tracking.

Envelope shipping is not trackable or insured. If your order is lost or damaged by Canada Post, please see the "Lost or Missing Embroidery Orders - Envelope Shipping" section below.
If you prefer the security of tracking and insurance, please select Standard Tracked Delivery.

Embroidery orders that do not fit in a standard envelope are not eligible for envelope shipping and must be shipped using a tracked shipping method.

If your order contains both embroidered and non-embroidered items, the order must be shipped using a tracked shipping method.

If you would like your regular products shipped before your embroidered items are ready, please place them as two separate orders. For questions about current embroidery production times, please contact us at orders@cpgear.com.

CURRENT PRODUCTION TIMES - Normally, we are able to complete your embroidered items within a 2-week period. On occasion, at certain times during the year we have experienced some delays in getting out embroidered orders. Delays will occur especially during times of mass ordering of slip-ons or nametapes. For example, if there has been a change in the format of nametapes or slip-ons, we will sometimes get a wave of orders, which can increase the period of time is takes to get your order out. Please email us at orders@cpgear.com if you would like a more detailed answer to current embroidery production/shipping times prior to ordering.

ORDER CHANGES - Your embroidered items are hand-digitized into a file within 12 hours of receipt of your order. We do not modify or change embroidered items 12 hours afterwards, as your order will already be in production. Please triple check your order confirmation email for errors right away and let us know of any changes within a 12-hour period.

Any changes/modifications/additional changes to your order will not be accepted after a 12-hour period and you will need to re-order.

We do not accept the return of embroidered items for credit or refund. Embroidered products are custom made to order and are non-refundable. All embroidery orders are made according to your specific order requirements.

For eligible embroidery orders, we offer a $6 untracked envelope shipping option. This is available for small, flat items such as rank badges, patches, nametapes, and slip-ons. Orders must contain only eligible embroidery items that can fit in a standard envelope. Larger items, such as brassards, embroidered hats, and apparel, are not eligible.

Envelope shipping is not trackable or insured. We offer this option as it is the most economical way to ship small flat items, however it's important to note that once it leaves our facility and is in the hands of Canada Post, there will be no way for us to help track your order. 

If your order does not arrive, please allow 6 weeks from the date we mailed it before contacting us. Canada Post can sometimes take several weeks to months to return undelivered envelopes to us. 

If your order has not arrived or been returned to us after a period of 6 weeks, we will remake your order ONCE at our expense. 

Please note: The shipping cost to mail out re-made items is the responsibility of the customer. Any re-made orders must be sent via tracked shipping to ensure delivery.

Envelope shipped orders are not eligible for refunds due to non-delivery. If the replacement order is not received, you will need to place a new order using a tracked shipping method. We cannot provide additional replacements or refunds for orders shipped by envelope.

If you prefer tracking and insurance, please select a tracked shipping option at checkout.

On occasion there may be a requirement for embroidery on an emergency basis (very quick turnaround time). Please contact us at marika@cpgear.com for availability and pricing.

Notebook Covers, Tactical Gear, Embroidery and all other CPGear products are proudly made in Canada at our Workshop in Fredericton, NB.
