The STRIKE Hydration Pack works as a standalone, or with our STRIKE suite placards.
We've designed the shoulder straps quite wide to evenly distribute weight. Since filled hydration packs aren't super heavy, we’ve done minimal padding to accomplish a really nice low-profile fit very close to the body - making it possible to wear under clothing without the bulk.
The shoulder straps are covered in a MOLLE/loop fastener system, giving the user the option to attach patches or use the MOLLE itself for additional pouch attachment. Elasticized loops on the shoulder straps for holding a pen, light stick, antennae, or neatly running the drinking tube through.
There’s two buckles on the side of the hydration pack for connecting to STRIKE suite placards. If the Hydration Pack is to be utilized as a standalone, one of the straps running to the side buckles is simply connected straight to the shoulder straps (you'll end up with an extra side strap when utilizing this pack as a standalone unit).
Drag handle is incorporated into the lid of the pack. To use the drag handle, pull up on the lid of the pack handle. The webbing that comprises the drag handle runs all the way down through the pack, which distributes dragged weight all throughout the pack instead of focusing all that weight at the top handle only - making it very strong.
Buckles are user-replaceable (quick attach surface mount buckles). NOTE - buckles used may be either black or brown.
The inside top of the pack has a hook & loop clip, that slots through the top of the bladder to hold it “up”, preventing the weight of the water from crumpling down to the bottom of the pack.
We also make a Cold Weather Hydration Pack Liner, an insulated sleeve made specifically to fit this hydration pack - available separately (add $35).
Across the face of the pack is MOLLE webbing. Towards the bottom is a loop fastener MOLLE area, giving the option to attach patches.
