CIC cap badge

1. The actual wire embroidery is really nice! It feel metalic (maybe), and the Crown is done nicely too (hoping they'll update to the new Crown as soon as the badge changes officially). I love how rich the colour is.
2. The large size is a little shorter than the elemental large ones that used to be issued, but is just as wide. Looks a bit short on the peaked cap, but that'll be okay.
3. Unfortunately, the commonly known issue with the tri-elemental pin strikes again. It's only secured on by hot glue. From a tailor's perspective, this is pretty cheap work given that most of us wear this badge every time we are in uniform, and for some also doing manual labour or field work. I will be securing it with silver embroidery floss, but that should never have been the case.

A few days ago I reviewed these badges, and thought the insignia was made of plastic. On closer inspection I discovered that I am very wrong, the cap badge is metal. I apologize for my earlier comments.

Great quality. Small size is appropriate for the beret and wedge for those who are wondering.
